Do you know what happens when you're completely cut off from the internet for roughly 6 hours?
Trades happen and you don't know about it! That is until you check the internet from your cell phone after 8 o'clock at night.
The Bruins traded forward Brandon Bochenski to Anaheim for Shane Hnidy and a 6th round draft pick tonight.
Hnidy will provide the Bruins with a little bit more help along the blue line while Aaron Ward and Andrew Alberts remain out with injuries.
Meanwhile, Bochenski never really regained the scoring touch he had last season. He had no goals and only 6 assists in 20 games with Boston this season after scoring 11 goals in 31 games last season after he was acquired from Chicago.
Hnidy is expected to be available for tomorrow's game against the Washington Capitals.
