Game 7

Tonight in Montreal.

Thoughts?

Nice to see our stiff of a Captain brought his "A" tonight. Chara is responsible for three goals tonight. His step slow reach on Koivu, his lazy reach on Striet and his poor attempt at clearing our the scrum in the corner, which lead to a penalty and a power play goal. Dump him. He is a loser

To all of those who told me things like : "You F*&%%& frog go back to your country" "I would choke you right now" etc etc etc when I was in Boston saturday...

NANA NA NA HEY HEYYY HEYY GOODBYE!!!!

and to the non aggresive bruins fans I've met there: It was a great round 1, I was really impressed by the bruins performance

What a great 1st period for the B's but unfortunately they ran out of gas, as Price decided that one goal would be sufficient to win the game.

Great match up for 2 teams that were not suppose to be in playoffs (as per experts back in September 2007). We have to recognize that the Habs had more pure talent, but fans here in Montreal also gave a lot of credit to the B's for their implication, passion and hard working. The Bruins gained a lot of respect and credibility in Mtl by the way they played, and also by the way they behaved when the game was basically over for them at 3-0. They kept on playing hard, no cheap shot, no frustration, just a blue collar team who refused to give up, until the last second was played. Great hands shake also at the end.

Honestly, people in Montreal realized that this team can only be better next year with all young players they have, plus the return of Bergie, Kobasew.

First, sorry for the delay in publishing comments.

Brewfan, Chara was playing with a torn labrum in his shoulder. Certainly that doesn't give him a "free pass" from other standards, but it definitely explains a lot.

Habs fan, accept my apologies from the (what I hope was) few disgraceful Bruins fans in Boston. The Habs fans I encountered in Boston were polite and I extended the same courtesy I would expect from anybody else. It was a great first round, even if the Bruins didn't win the series, they still competed hard.

Yves, great comment. I think the Bruins earned a lot of respect with their season they had and the playoff run. Nothing to be other than proud of this team.
