What a game. Even though Montreal scored the first goal of the game, usually such a turning point for Bruins games, the Bruins did not give up.
Phil Kessel tied the game on the power play. Then Glen Metropolit scored. Then the Captain Zdeno Chara pulled through and scored on the power play. Then Marco Sturm scored shorthanded. Then Vladimir Sobotka scored his first NHL playoff goal.
And there was the 5-1 final.
Never give up on this team.
And for anybody who said the season was over on Tuesday, I am so happy the Bruins proved you wrong.

Most important is that the B's still have nothing to lose while they're getting closer from the "unexpected". For the Habs, it's a different story. Don't you think it looks like 2004... with reversed roles

Yay! I haven't got a real favorite in the playoffs (although I've been leaning towards Pittsburgh), I would be quite happy to see Boston beat Montreal. Sounds like it was a good game.

The more games they play in that series, the more pressure the Habs have to deal with, while the Bruins really have nothing to lose. The B's accomplished a lot more than expected this year. Even with a complete line up (before the season started) they were not expected to be in playoffs... then we know what happened... and what they did. The B's have been in "surviving mode" for the last 4-5 weeks (and they succeeded !) while the Habs were just trying to improve their playoffs situations. This situation is "déjà vu" for the B's
