I will get into who the Bruins drafted on Sunday because I have things to do on Saturday, and I can't be bothered to look things up at 3 a.m.

But the Bruins drafted a center with the #16 pick. And he's a mold after Joe Thornton, even his nickname is Jumbo. Begin the endless conversations about that topic right there.

I attended the Bruins draft party for the second consecutive year and I came out of it with a lot of "Oh my God, that made my night" moments than last year... And face it, sometimes that's what really counts in the long run.

My first "Oh my God, I don't care what the Bruins do, I'll still be grinning ear-to-ear" moment came when the trade was announced that Nick Boynton was traded to the Florida Panthers. I reacted like I just won the lottery. I suppose deep down, I am still a Boynton fan at heart, and Boynton being back in the Eastern Conference was my million dollar prize. I am also excited that Keith Ballard went with him.

My second "Oh my God, I can never wash my Blackberry again" moment was when Terry O'Reilly was holding my poor little pathetic red Blackberry Pearl to check a picture of him and a friend fake-punching each other. I stood across the table and savored the moment. Terry. O'Reilly. Holding my phone. A famous Bruin. Holding my phone. That was once in a lifetime.

Until I get Cam Neely to hold my phone.
