Since I have been actively tinkering with Movable Type 4.2 using a test blog, I am now actively designing new style-sheets for the blog.
That is plural. Style-sheets.
You see, as much as I love how Bruin-y colored this blog can be, the colors of black, gold and white get a little... boring. There are a lot of colors out there in the world, and some of those can really make a blog pop. (I won't say pretty even though it is at the tip of my tongue.)
I started working on some designs last night, feeling out how I want the blog to look and what doesn't hurt the eyes. There are a couple ways I can go using black, gold and white, but there are limitations at the same time. I wanted something different, but I wanted to remain team-oriented at the same time.
Then it hit me like a body check from a 6'9" defenseman.
Why not give the people what they want? Choices! Switching out black, gold and white isn't that hard to do, and I could probably whip up at least three different style-sheets before the upgrade. All I need is a style-sheet switcher that lets the reader choose how they want to view the blog.
And voila! The readers can choose what they want.
The layout of the blog is going to be different too. I'm sticking with the three columns (unless somebody tells me otherwise), but it will be better organized.
With training camp starting so late, I have plenty of time to work on it.
