This feeling has been missing since late April. Back then, I didn't appreciate the feeling because playoffs are stressful. The season gets long and I just started going through the motions as hockey time dwindled down and the temperatures heated up.
But after reading the following, that hockey feeling is back.
Zdeno Chara was seen in the building, but did not participate in an informal scrimmage, which did include goalies, Fernandez, Regan and Rask, as well as skaters Andrew Alberts, Andrew Bodnarchuk, P.J. Axelsson, David Krejci, Phil Kessel, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Shane Hnidy, Marc Savard, Mark Stuart, Marco Sturm and Nate Thompson.
*insert big smile influenced by the Black and Gold here* It's a hockey smile!
Reading that made my day, which started off on the wrong foot since my desktop computer wouldn't power on. It still isn't working and is getting ready to go to a repair shop, but that is not even near the front of my mind.
Because hockey is back in Boston. That means it's time to get back into a hockey state of mind.
Ah, I love September.
